It’s been a minute since we have had a project reveal so we are excited to share this Mid Mod Meets New Miami Bathroom. Talk about bathroom goals! We worked closely with the client on this one - it’s great to be able to come together and incorporate the client’s vision and ideas.
The space was very outdated - think 80/90s vibe. Check out a few of the before photos.
The client wanted more of a hotel and spa vibe while still keeping the integrity of the mid-century aspect (hello, retro shelving!).
Speaking of the open shelves, they also serve as a divider between the bedroom and bathroom, defining the two spaces better. We’ll take dual functionality where we can get it - especially if it means preserving the character of the original space.
We kept the original vanity intact as well and painted it green like the shelves which helped set the tranquil tone of the room. The wood tile feature wall with the gold hardware throughout gives the space a mid century modern feel.
The Anthropologie wallpaper screams zen and the touches of greenery, natural wood elements and free-standing tub rounded out this space to give it that “Calgon, take me away!” feeling. (Dating myself with that Calgon reference ha ha ha.)
