The Dining Room: Eclectic Art Meets Coastal Sophistication
Gaby’s dining room radiates a warm and vibrant charm with its mix of coastal and eclectic elements. A sleek, natural wood dining table anchors the room, surrounded by muted blue chairs that add a pop of soft color. Above, a modern chandelier with brass accents brings an elegant touch, while a large round mirror reflects the playful wall art, creating a dynamic visual effect. The wall features colorful Otomi textiles artwork, blending cultural charm with contemporary flair. The woven centerpiece on the table adds texture and a nod to coastal design, making the space feel inviting and personal—perfect for everything from family dinners to laid-back gatherings with friends.
Design Tip from Gaby: “Choose art that speaks to you and makes you smile. Mixing colors and patterns brings personality into a room without overwhelming the space.”

The Kitchen: Bright, Airy, and Infused with Personal Touches
When Gaby first purchased her West Palm Beach home, the kitchen was dominated by red cherry-stained cabinets and lacked a backsplash. She transformed the space with a fresh coat of Simply White by Benjamin Moore, turning the cabinets into bright, airy focal points that lighten the room. A new glossy white backsplash adds visual interest with subtle variations in shade, lending depth to the otherwise neutral palette. Gaby also swapped out the cabinet hardware for modern, understated knobs and added stylish pendant lighting over the island. She made a functional upgrade by replacing the microwave above the stove with a sleek hood, enhancing both the look and feel of the kitchen. Overall, the kitchen now radiates a fun, colorful, and energetic vibe that draws you in and makes you feel right at home.
Design Tip from Gaby: “Don’t be afraid to personalize your kitchen. Small details like hardware, lighting, and backsplash can transform the look without a full renovation! Oh—and don't forget to style your kitchen as well”
The Living Room: Relaxed Comfort Meets Curated Style
Gaby's living space is a fresh, inviting mix of colorful and relaxed decor that brings an effortless vibrancy to the room. The white sofa is adorned with a mix of textured and patterned throw pillows in soft blues, pinks, and reds, creating a cozy, layered look. A large, framed landscape painting serves as a calming focal point above the sofa, introducing serene greens and blues that tie the space together. To one side, an open, white shelving unit displays a curated collection of books, art pieces, and decorative objects that add personality and warmth. Natural elements, like the woven pendant light, potted plants, and woven baskets, add texture and enhance the laid-back yet polished aesthetic, making this a welcoming spot to relax and gather.
The true focal point of the room? A stunning custom oil painting from Caracas, Venezuela – Gaby's hometown. This landscape is more than just art; it’s a piece of her roots, bringing a deeply personal and meaningful touch to the space. The vibrant greens and blues capture the essence of the Venezuelan landscape, infusing the room with a sense of home and nostalgia.
Design Tip from Gaby: “I love finding pieces with history. Mixing these with more modern elements creates a balanced space that feels rich and layered.
Primary Bedroom: A Serene Coastal Retreat
In the primary bedroom, a serene color palette of soft blues, and crisp whites creates a calming oasis. The space is anchored by a simple, upholstered bed, with light linen bedding and layered textiles adding warmth and coziness. The decor here leans minimalist but includes a few key details—colorful balanced wall gallery, more otomi framed textile art, and bold striped area rug.
Design Tip from Gaby: “Keep things simple but meaningful in a bedroom. For me, creating a serene space meant focusing on texture over color and choosing a few statement pieces that reflect my love for the coast.”
Outdoor Patio: Embracing the Palm Beach Breeze
The outdoor patio is a true coastal oasis, combining comfort with charming details. The space features a woven, neutral-toned outdoor sofa adorned with vibrant floral pillows that add a touch of personality. A patterned rug in soft blues and whites grounds the seating area, while a modern, rounded concrete table serves as the perfect spot for refreshing drinks and snacks. A backdrop of terracotta planters filled with greenery adds natural texture to the space, bringing in an organic, lush vibe that harmonizes beautifully with the surrounding foliage. This patio is an ideal setting for relaxing afternoons under the Florida sun.
Kids’ Bedroom: A Playful Space for Creativity and Learning
Gaby’s kids’ bedroom is a delightful blend of creativity and functionality, designed to inspire young minds. The space features a sleek, double work desk with ample storage, ideal for art projects, homework, or imaginative play. Above the desk, playful decor, like the "Color Outside the Lines" sign and framed prints, adds a pop of personality while encouraging a sense of adventure and creativity. Natural-toned rattan chairs bring warmth and texture, while vibrant accents, like the colorful basket and blue rug, add a cozy and inviting feel. This room is perfectly crafted to be a fun and inspiring space where the little ones can learn, play, and grow.
